Bengali Modern & Adhunik
Golden era to contemporaryClassics of the golden era of Bengali music alongside her own contemporary releases — sung with attention to diction, mood and the storytelling that makes Bengali songwriting distinctive.

Two decades of a voice that carries Bengal’s soul — from Shyama Sangeet and Rabindra-era classics to modern Bengali and Bollywood melodies.
About Banasri Ghoshal
Banasri Ghoshal is a Kolkata-based vocalist whose life has been shaped by music from her earliest years. She began formal training at the age of three, and more than two decades of disciplined riyaz have given her a voice equally at home in a devotional gathering, a classical recital, a wedding mandap and a film studio.
Her repertoire moves easily between worlds — Shyama Sangeet and bhajans sung with genuine devotional feeling, golden-era Bengali and Hindi melodies, Rabindra-era classics, and contemporary Bengali releases carried on her own YouTube channel. Whatever the form, the intention is the same: to let the lyric breathe and to let the audience feel it.
Beyond the stage, Banasri is a teacher and a mentor. Several of her students now perform and record professionally, and she has served as a judge on televised singing competitions, where her feedback is known for being exacting but generous.
She has performed across India and overseas, including in Canada, and her work has been covered by newspapers and news channels in Bengal, Tripura and beyond.

Service & Performance
Every occasion asks for a different set list, a different scale and a different mood.
A wedding is a sequence of very different moments, and each needs its own music. Banasri builds a running order with the family — devotional and traditional pieces for the ceremonies, romantic and celebratory numbers for the sangeet and reception.
Devotional evenings for pandals, temples, housing complexes and private prayer gatherings — Shyama Sangeet, bhajan, kirtan and Agomoni songs, in sets from 45 minutes to a full evening.
Full-length ticketed and cultural-festival concerts with a live band, built around a themed set list — a golden-era evening, a devotional evening, or a mixed Bengali-Hindi programme.
Curated music for corporate evenings, association functions, anniversaries and intimate house concerts, calibrated to the room and the audience.
Studio vocals for films, albums, devotional releases and jingles — in Bengali, Hindi and Rajasthani, with quick turnaround and reference-track discipline.
Structured vocal training in classical foundation, Bengali modern and devotional repertoire — for beginners through to performing singers preparing for competitions.

Testimonials
She sat with us for an hour before finalising the list, and it showed — every song landed with the right group of guests. Our elders were in tears during the gaye holud songs.
We have booked many singers over fifteen years. Very few hold a pandal crowd of two thousand the way she did with pure Agomoni songs. Punctual, prepared, and completely professional.
I came to her unable to hold a note steady. Two years later I recorded my first playback track. She is patient but she does not let you get away with anything.
